Today marks as an important day for the students of Diploma in Accounting ’18 (DIA’18). It is the second day of our Orientation Week. For this day, it is vital for students to attend because our Student Council had organised a Ice-breaking session that requires the participation of all students. The Ice-Breaking session is to let students know each other and also acts as a medium for students to explore their individual talents.
A few activities were conducted to prepare the mood for the final activity for the day. This activity is partially linked to our course subject, Marketing and Management.
Students were given an instruction to form a group as a company, which comprises few positions: CEO, Brand Manager, Production Manager, Marketing Manager and few other people as the staffs. The group gets to choose the most suitable person for different positions.
All groups were given a situation and a task: To build something and promote the building as the company’s main product by presentation. The students had to discuss, and act together to accomplish the task, which builds the teamwork of a group.
During the process of preparing the product of their group (Production Team):
During the presentation of their group (Marketing Manager):
The activity had achieved the main purpose of this Ice-breaking session, which is to break the ice-gaps of the students. Group photos were taken to remember this precious memory of DIA’18 students.
Finally, the group photo of our Pintar College Student Council (PCSC), which did a great job in organizing and preparing the sessions of the day. Thanks for the great effort.
