Students from SMK Sinar Bintang, with a number more than a hundred, had visited our campus at Kepong. The students, accompanied by their teachers reached the destination by 8:30am. By that time when everyone took their seats, they were all given a set of accounting notes which were prepared for the accounting seminar by Mr. Jimmy, our President Founder.
By 9.00am, Mr. Jimmy starts the talk and the students are all very focused in order not to miss any important information.
The seminar then ended at 11.00am, lunch were prepared and served to the students.
After the lunch period, Mr. Jimmy gave a short talk about the pathway of Accounting. This is to give students a prior knowledge about what they should know when a student chooses a course for their further studies.
Our proud scholarship holder, Goh Min Shyan, is a former student from SMK Sinar Bintang. The teachers are all very proud of his performance during his time in secondary school and also his recent achievements in our college. He won a LCCI Country Award, which is a good news worth the proud of all his teachers and lecturers.
The event ended around 12:15pm after a group photo, students were then arranged to a few buses and are all back to their school along with their teachers and also some staffs from our college.
Everything ended well for both the college and also the students. Hope to see the students of SMK Sinar Bintang again soon!

Today marks as an important day for the students of Diploma in Accounting ’18 (DIA’18). It is the second day of our Orientation Week. For this day, it is vital for students to attend because our Student Council had organised a Ice-breaking session that requires the participation of all students. The Ice-Breaking session is to let students know each other and also acts as a medium for students to explore their individual talents.
A few activities were conducted to prepare the mood for the final activity for the day. This activity is partially linked to our course subject, Marketing and Management.
Students were given an instruction to form a group as a company, which comprises few positions: CEO, Brand Manager, Production Manager, Marketing Manager and few other people as the staffs. The group gets to choose the most suitable person for different positions.
All groups were given a situation and a task: To build something and promote the building as the company’s main product by presentation. The students had to discuss, and act together to accomplish the task, which builds the teamwork of a group.
During the process of preparing the product of their group (Production Team):
During the presentation of their group (Marketing Manager):
The activity had achieved the main purpose of this Ice-breaking session, which is to break the ice-gaps of the students. Group photos were taken to remember this precious memory of DIA’18 students.
Finally, the group photo of our Pintar College Student Council (PCSC), which did a great job in organizing and preparing the sessions of the day. Thanks for the great effort.
Last but not least…
